Weddings for 2011!

2010 WAS A GREAT SEASON! I have one more wedding to do and a various number of parties still for this calendar year. But, I am already planning 2011. I have 4 weddings booked, including my own for next year! We are very excited as the bookings are filling up fast! Men Vs Wedding

Believe it or not there are some out there that are more fascinated with a wedding than the actual marriage itself.

It becomes a thought just about when they begin to walk down the isle, does it become real. "I am getting married" finally sinks in.

All the "hoopla" that surrounds a wedding, the constant work becomes a second job almost! (Of course that is where I come in)

BUT FOR REAL LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!! Lets concentrate what YOU really want and the importance of becoming man and wife.... and what it really means. "To have and to hold" "Till death do us part", that is the important part. Not the color of the flowers and the bridesmaids gowns...

It went amazing! Weather was perfect, food was great and the wine was flowing! Now that my first wedding at Lucky Star is completed there are definite changes I would make.. not many though. Pratts Falls Wedding AUGUST 6th

Back to back weekend weddings for Miss Priss! Thankfully my neighbor Carrie Cumber has some crafty sense and a sewing machine! I was at her house until 11:30 last night cutting fabric for a wedding next weekend. A BIG THANK YOU to her.

Lucky Star Wedding THIS WEEKEND!

Today I joined the Brewerton Chamber of Commerce! I have always wanted to, and finally put it all together!... lately it feels like all my hard work is SLOWLY starting to pay off. Thanks to great networking, awesome clients, and supportive family members.

Back Yard Weddings..

"Times are a changing.." These things called "back yard weddings" were unheard of in most wedding planners agendas! But here I am with the biggest budget for a wedding yet, and its a back yard affair. LOVE IT!! Who says you cant have an amazing wedding on your porch at sunset!!?? Is it typical..?? Yes. These days, it is getting more popular. Especially, for second weddings. When planning your wedding the biggest thing to do is keep an open mind, dont fall in love with the first vendor you come in contact with, and don't settle for anything less then what you want. Every bride has a vision and if its your dream it should come true.

Heading Home

Heading home tomorrow, back to work and back to wedding planning! Although, I don't believe I stopped working while I was here. We are getting down to the wire on a few weddings and I cant wait for everything to come together for their special days. As soon as I get home Ill be posting pictures of my progress on each wedding! Be excited..... :)

So.. I am in Atlanta.. and I must say, I am so behind the times with this whole blogging thing. A recent visit and intense conversation with Kelly Kane and I had talked myself into this. As usual, with things I am unsure of, I become obsessed with after I gain knowledge! Needless to say, it look me some vacation time to get myself blogging. I have also gone through a few Bride magazines and made some appointments today.. still feel accomplished a few hundred miles from home! :)

This wedding is going to be a blast! Scheduled for the first week in October; we have been working for almost a year for this affair! Planned for Wysocki's in Cicero with a fall theme, I cant wait to see this wedding in action....

Here is a brief overview of what we are all about..

Local photographers, models, stylists and makeup artists all join together for our shoots. We have done different settings, backgrounds, studio, colors, outfits and themes to produce different varieties of pictures. Photographers and models build their portfolios while make up artists and stylists receive credit for their work! As a group we network, meet new people and gain new clients!

AND... in progress is a "Top Model" high fashion shoot August 22nd 2010

I cant believe its July! The busy summer that I have had already.. now keeps chugging along. Lucky Star Ranch's first wedding of the season will be a three day affair! July 30th through August 1st 2010. Pictures to follow!
